Cheddar Gorge, three miles long with its stalagmite Caves, makes for
an exciting day for all the family. Although some would say it is over
commercialised the caves themselves are magnificent. Take a jumper in summer as
the caves are cold. A gorge tour is available for the less energetic, and there
are plenty of places to get food and drink. Be prepared for a lot of people as
